Who owns Robot Fund, what our verdicts are and are not, what this site collects and the terms for using it.

Not investment advice

Robot Fund is a media and research publication. It is not an investment fund, broker, adviser or exchange, and it does not manage money or offer, sell or recommend any security. Nothing on this site, in the show, in the tracker or in the Monday Brief is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell anything. Our verdicts (Shipping, Piloting, Demo, Render) describe how far a company’s technology has got in the field, in our opinion, at the time we published. They are not ratings of a company as an investment. Do your own research and talk to a licensed professional before making any investment decision. People at Robot Fund may hold investments in companies we cover; when someone working on an episode does, the episode says so.

Ownership & trademarks

This website, the Robot Fund show, its name, logo and artwork, the on-air voice, the tracker’s selection and verdicts, and all original video, audio and text are © Orph Labs AI, Inc. All rights reserved.

Robot Fund™, HipBits™ and their logos are trademarks of Orph Labs AI, Inc. and may not be used without permission. HipBits is a product of Orph Labs AI, Inc., and Robot Fund is a HipBits show.

Company names, logos and images

Company names, logos and product images belong to their owners and are used to identify them in news reporting and commentary. Robot Fund is not affiliated with or endorsed by any company it covers. Photography on this site is licensed from Unsplash and credited in the footer. A company that wants a detail corrected can ask through our contact form (choose Legal), and we review every request.

Editorial independence & sponsorship

Companies do not pay to appear in Robot Fund or to receive a verdict, and sponsors never choose, review or change our coverage. Sponsorships of the show or the Monday Brief are always labelled as sponsored. When a sponsor is also a company we cover, the episode or issue says so.

Accuracy

Funding amounts, dates and investors come from public sources such as company announcements, regulatory filings and press reporting, and each round in the tracker links to its source. Sources can be wrong or change, and companies change course. Robot Fund may be wrong or out of date and is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we will correct it.

AI disclosure

Robot Fund’s on-air voice is AI-generated, not a real person. Scripts are written and fact-checked by the production team, and AI tools are used to produce the voice and parts of the video. The companies, numbers and sources are real.

Privacy

The Monday Brief. When you subscribe we store your email address and the sign-up date in our database (hosted by Supabase) and use it only to send the Brief and to tell you about Robot Fund. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we never sell or share the list.

Contact form and tips. The contact form asks what your message is about (partnerships, legal or a tip) and for your message. Partnership and legal messages also ask for your name and email, and optionally a company and a link. Tips ask for a headline, at least one source link and the details; your name and email are optional, and a tip sent without them arrives as “Anonymous”. When you send a tip, our server visits each source link once to check that the page exists. We store each message in our database together with the address of the page you sent it from, and email it to the HipBits team at info@orphmedia.com through Resend, our email provider. We use your name and email only to reply to you, and we never publish who sent a tip.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and episodes people use. It sets cookies or similar identifiers and collects information such as pages viewed, referring site, approximate location, device and browser, which Google processes for us.

Video. Episodes and Shorts play in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube (Google) does not set tracking cookies until you play a video; once you do, it may collect information under Google’s privacy policy. Links to companies and sources take you to their own sites, under their own privacy policies.

Hosting. The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request data such as your IP address to serve pages and keep the site secure.

We do not sell or rent personal information. To see or delete your subscription or a message you sent, use the contact form, choose Legal, and tell us the email you used. This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Terms of use

You are welcome to watch, read and share links to Robot Fund for personal use, and to quote short parts of the tracker with credit and a link to robotfund.com. Please don’t scrape the site or the tracker, resell or redistribute our data, videos, artwork or text, or present our content or verdicts as your own or as investment advice. Commercial use of the tracker data needs a licence: see Partner with us. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. We may update these terms and this page at any time; the date below shows the latest version.

Contact and takedown notices (DMCA)

Send questions, privacy requests, corrections and copyright notices through our contact form (choose Legal). A copyright takedown notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) must include:

  • your physical or electronic signature, as the owner or someone authorized to act for the owner;
  • the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
  • the material you want removed, with enough detail to find it (the page or episode URL and, for video, the timestamp);
  • your contact information: address, phone number and email;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law;
  • a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner.
